Waiting

So if you’re waiting on God, wait on Him right to the end. Hos. 12:6, “Wait on your God continually.” Wait until God answers.

Faith, not fear

Many times we are far too fearful of trials and trouble. At the first sign of trouble, we begin to shrink back in fear. The believers who have lived before us seemed to display a different strength than most do today. We are rather accustomed to convenience and usually don’t do well with suffering of any type; it frightens us.

Let’s remember how David faced the giant Goliath and be joyful and thankful that we can defeat our enemies too. We can attack fear rather than letting it rule us.

You are much more than your feelings. You are a powerful, wise, beloved child of God, and you can do whatever you need to do in life through Christ, who is your strength (see Philippians 4:13).

Strength

“Why, my soul, are you downcast? Why so disturbed within me? Put your hope in God, for I will yet praise him, my Savior and my God.” Psalms 42:1 (NIV)

Divine energy is not dependent on how much sleep you’ve had or how much food you’ve eaten. It’s divine and it comes from God. His grace can take form and become anything you need.

When you need a refreshing, God will give you divine energy. You can’t get away to a beach resort or to the cabins. But you can get away with God and let Him fill you with His Spirit and power!

In His presence, He refuels you, refills you, refreshes you, revives you, renews your strength and recharges you.

There’s no time to remain discouraged, weary and downcast. Rest in God’s grace as He does the real work in and through you.

Let your faith be activated in God’s glory and receive by faith from His glory the divine energy you need to overcome evil with good and to keep your hands to the plow.

Bold

Standing up for yourself on the inside does not mean being rebellious or having an aggressive attitude toward those who don't understand us.
It means having a quiet inner confidence that takes us through to the finish line. It is knowing inside that despite what is happening on the outside, everything is going to be all right because God is on the scene, and when He is present, nothing is impossible.

Strength

Anyone can give up, it’s the easiest thing in the world to do. But to hold it together when everyone else would understand if you fell apart, that’s true strength.” - Unknown

It definitely comes from within and can also be a mental struggle to pull yourself together through a foggy moment. But know that in the midst of the battle, you are not alone and God is in control.

Stay calm and be strong!

Strength

Toughness is in the soul and spirit, not in muscles - Alex Karras

Sometimes we look at people and how they look and we immediately assume that they are weak or can't handle challenges in life.

You never know what someone can handle until you see them come out of it or hear them talk about it.

Often times, the "tough" sounding and "tough" looking are actually quite fearful and un-brave.

Strength is within, not on the outside.

Happy Wednesday good people!

Out of control

What do you do when you find yourself in a situation that is long, hard, and out of your control?

How do your emotions play out?

You sit, pray, and watch God work. It is at these times that God desires our presence more than ever.

We typically want more of God when we face these times but also, God desires more of us too. He yearns for us just as much!

Ladies, these moments are opportunities for us to draw nearer and closer to the Father. Not just for answers or an explanation to our situation but to demonstrate our trust, surrender our weaknesses, and gain His ultimate strength.

Sit back and watch what God can do!
