And the same goes if you turn the statement the other way around. It doesn't matter how many people reject you for your uniqueness, the one person who values you is like a fuel to your existence. And if you aren't self-confident, you'll find yourself keeping that one positive person at arms length just so you can draw something special from them about you as needed.
It's important to love, value and respect yourself. God knew about you before He made you; therefore, there is nothing wrong with you or off about you.
Quit focusing on others' opinions about you and rest in God's definition of who you are.

Having a self esteem is very important, as it determines how you express yourself. Now, the volume of how much of a self esteem you have is much more important because it portrays your emotions either positively or negatively.
But, it's not enough to just say how you see yourself; it's all about how you express it, and how you allow others to handle you.
People will only do what you allow them to do. And they should also not do what you don't appreciate. But it's your job to hold the world to the standard of your worth! Remember, you lead and we follow; therefore, lead with self-respect!

Respect
A man who cannot respect a woman is not a real man. Any man who thinks a woman is either a sex object or a baby factory is low self-esteemed, disrespectful to women including his mother, and shouldn't be with you!
A real good man helps his woman to bring out the best in her life and not diminish or oppress her. He helps her fulfill her dreams and doesn't persuade her to give it up for his own.
Ladies, recognize who you are in God! You should never live up to a man's standard.... Man didn't create you, God did!
Quit mistreating yourself by allowing the "fool" to treat you how he wants to.
Get a grip, pick up your things, and if you can ...today... Walk away from all the foolishness and put the value back on you.
You, yes you, are absolutely worth it!
