Love

Love must be sincere. Hate what is evil; cling to what is good.  Be devoted to one another in brotherly love. Honor one another above yourselves.  Never be lacking in zeal, but keep your spiritual fervor serving the Lord. ~ Romans 12:9-11

This scripture is clear.  If you are going to love someone, then be sincere about it.  And in that sincerity, comes vulnerability, honestly, loyalty, care etc.  It wouldn't be real if these things are not accompanied with your compassion for someone.

In this age we live in, we are taught to think of ourselves first, consider our thoughts first, look out for your protection first and so on and so on.  But its clear in the bible that we are to do otherwise, why? Because God takes care of us and our demonstration of our love for our fellow brethren is important for others to see....this is what changes lives.  NO ONE is going to change their live based on how much you love yourself, or how much you buy things for yourself, or how much your status elevates, BUT lives are touched around you because of how and what you do for someone else. 

We have got to get better at this ladies.... :)
