Waiting

So if you’re waiting on God, wait on Him right to the end. Hos. 12:6, “Wait on your God continually.” Wait until God answers.

Resentment

Resentment always hurts you more than it does the person you resent. While your offender has probably forgotten the offense and gone on with life, you continue to stew in your pain, perpetuating the past. Those who hurt you in the past cannot continue to hurt you now unless you hold on to the pain through resentment. Your past is past. Nothing will change it. You are only hurting yourself with your bitterness. For your own sake, learn from it, and then let it go.

~ Rick Warren

The power of freedom for our future truly lies in our hands. It's what we do today with what happened yesterday that explains it all. Our outlook on life is really a testament on how we have overcome our past and how we see the present and the future.

Those little and big moments we faced have shaped our thinking, enveloped our emotions, created our boundaries and managed our expectations.

It's imperative that we get over any issues, so the future is clean and clear for us. It's no use dragging yesterday into today; it'll always be the present if we don't let go of the past. Let the past stay where it is and lets live today fully, so we can see all of tomorrow's blessings.
